running almost ten days on account of a strange discomfort in his right buttock, that is what which has been the ass. It seems that it is the piriformis syndrome, which involves inflammation of the piriformis muscle compressing the sciatic nerve. It is also called pseudo sciatica, differing from the sciatica that this nerve is compressed but also the discs, not muscular in origin.
The symptoms match the description of the injury, unless the pain is not radiating down my hamstring area but rather to the lower back.
More than a pain is a nuisance that manifested in a puncture on a trigger point behind the buttocks and a dull ache in the sacral to get up, if seated and out of the car. I do not want to tempt fate and go running but I did 5 miles on Saturday, apparently without problems.
In any case, I am considering it as holidays than any year I've caught. Within a few days if all goes well, I will restart training, with new hopes, goals and expectations. Meanwhile I ride on my new bike, which apparently did not affect the injury and gets along better with the high temperatures. I go almost every day between 30 and 50 km, with the objective to take shape for the road to Santiago in September.
